Number Our Days

''Teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” Psalm 90:12 KJV

PSALM 39:4-- YAH (L-RD), make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.

PROVERBS 3:13-18  'Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.  She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.  Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.  She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her

PROVERBS 8:32-36  ''Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.  Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.   For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of  YAH  (L-RD).  But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

Think on these beautiful verses and realize, ''Our next breath is not guaranteed'',  WE ONLY HAVE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME, on this earth and yes, we need to ask our Almighty Father to 'teach' us, to number our days, and teach us how to use them wisely.

Tomorrow is just not a ''guaranteed'' event for any of us. We take so much for granted, AS IF__ ''we are the ones who control the source of our breath..

JAMES 4:15  ''For that ye ought to say, If the YAH  (L-rd) will, we shall live, and do this, or that.”

Do we ever think what it might be like, to suddenly be in a position,  of  total helplessness. Or the possibility that one of our family members would suddenly be 'taken away'?   It simply is not something we often think about or plan for; because we are so ''future'' minded with our own personal thoughts,  plans and worries, WE simply don't make 'room' for this serious side of life. our own SPIRITUAL JOURNEY and that of our family.

THERE IS A SERIOUS SAYING'''Don't put off till tomorrow what you should do today.''  very good advice  even Scripture makes comment;   2 Corinthians 6:2,   Proverbs 16:9  (KJV) ''A man's heart deviseth his way: but the YAHVAH (L-rd) directeth his steps''     Life truely is fragile and though, he thinks contrary; man does not determine how or when his days will end.  Man cannot say (for instance) ''I will have my say now and do what I like and decide later about 'Eternity'.  That is utter foolishness. One has no guarantee first of all, they will still be living;  and that even IF, you will have that opportunity again to 'answer HIS call' and be saved. It might be too late, the "Last" call may have already taken place.  Why would anyone take that chance, and play 'Roulette' with their eternal soul?

2 Corinthians 6:2--''At the acceptable time I listened to you,
And on the day of salvation I helped you.”
Behold, now is “the acceptable time,” behold, now is “the day of salvation”—Romans 13:11--''Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we believed.

Again we have no guarantee that another 'opportunity' will arise for us to make such a "life-changing'' decision. For many, it is a 'one-time' Call from the Almighty Father. There have been testimonies from people, who said; 'even though they tried' with tears, and many prayers;  they could not 'answer the call',  The Father would not hear them; it was too late.  They spent their life, doing things their way, having  so-called fun; and when the hard things of life hit, as they so often do, they had no place of comfort.  What a sad state of affairs.  Just because they "put off" the greatest decision of their life.  I pray that all who read this page, will take these things to heart, and realize, they may not again have this opportunity to accept the Messiah Saviour, and be ""Born Again"" into His Kingdom.

 - Messiah answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of my Father.

 - Therefore if any man be in Messiah, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

 - He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of The Father abideth on him.
